Apart from cancellations due to Covid, Kenilworth Arts Council (KAC) has held an arts competition and exhibition every year since the first in 1997, making Kenilworth ArtsFest the longest running arts competition on the Sunshine Coast.
Kenilworth Arts Council is pleased to announce the ArtsFest dates for 2025.
2 ONLY ENCOURAGEMENT AWARDS
$300 each for 2D and 3D
2D Jean Glanvill Encouragement Award one only $300 prize
3D Anna Blackshaw Encouragement Award one only $300 prize
2D – Open to entrants in 2D Sections 1, 2 and 3 with fewer than 5 years practical art experience in 2D field
3D – Open to entrants in 3D Sections 4 and 5 with fewer than 5 years practical art experience in 3D field
CHILDREN’S POETRY & ART COMPETITION
Age Groups: 4-7yrs, 8-10yrs, 11-12yrs
Theme: GRATITUDE
All Children’s Artworks and Poetry will be displayed in Supper Room of Kenilworth Hall 22/23/24/25th May
Artworks Competition, only 1 (2D) and 1 (3D) entry per child Art Competition Prize, Box of Art Supplies in each age group.
Poetry Competition, book prize in each age group.
A Performance by Internationally acclaimed author Chris Collin
Thursday 22nd May 2025 – all entrants invited.
